Don Bosco Buterere Youth Center is a Salesian run center. Salesians are a Catholic order of men and women, devoted to caring for and educating orphans and at risk children. Don Bosco Centers, which are named after the founder of the order St John Bosco, are located throughout the world and provide housing, education, vocational training, recreation and ecumenical spiritual guidance for orphans, disadvantaged children and street children.
